2024 Horseshoe Pitch and Cornhole Toss

August 14: 26th Annual Doubles Horseshoe and Cornhole Toss Contest, hosted once again by Joanne and Ken Vanderheyden for the 5th consecutive time, and this time Joanne and Ken outdid themselves with a fantastic spread of food centered around pulled pork and pulled chicken.  This year, London’s Men of Accord was invited to join us and 11 of their members plus some of their spouses showed up.  With 16 of our members with several of their spouses as well, we experienced one of the largest gatherings at this annual event.  Six teams of two participated in the horseshoe pitch over which Tim Kaplanis and Rick Mazdia where the winners and four teams of two participated in the Cornhole Toss over which John Roffel and Dwight Baer were the winners.  This wonderful event ended with Men of Accord singing their stuff, A Cappella Connection singing theirs and the two choruses singing together.  The following are the photos and videos that where taken:
