2026 Horseshoe Pitch and Cornhole Toss
On August 12th of 2026, the 27th Annual Doubles Horseshoe and Cornhole Toss contest took place on the beautiful property of Joanne and Ken Vanderheyden. With 13 members of Men of Accord and 12 members of A Cappella Connection present, plus a number of spouses, a total of about 30 people started the night by eating a well prepared dinner of home baked beans, pulled pork, salads, vegetables and fruit. Following this, pitching commenced. The declared winner of the Cornhole Toss was Chad Vanasse, while the winners for Horseshoe Pitch where Gord Miller and John Gough, with the runners up being John Roffel and Tim Kaplanis. Finishing off the night quartets and choruses sang songs. A short thunder and rain storm occurred but with Ken's large garage, it was not a problem. What follows are all the photos and videos taken:
