​ John “Blake” Hughes Celebration of Life

On April 8, 2025, 12 A Cappella Connection members joined up at the Dennings of Strathroy funeral home to sing four songs for a John “Blake” Hughes Celebration of Life.  Blake was a super big part of our barbershop chorus.  He was who brought our spring shows to the front of popularity in Strathroy with his artistic backdrops and certainly deserved our presence with song.  John Gough quickly noticed the presence of a number of our past members and invited Ted and Bill Gough, Brian McDougall, Ron Madill and Grant Knox to join us as we sang, I Believe.
