WORTH A LOOK!!!
Our local barbershop society (Strathroy) Vocal Federation has been rehearsing for their annual show.  The date is Saturday, May 2nd at 2 p.m.  The location is East Christian Reformed Church, Metcalfe Street.  Please mark your calendar and plan to attend an afternoon of STERLING FAVOURITES.

You will see plenty of local personalities and many of them have been singing and entertaining at outings for the Federation for 25plus years.    We have changed with the times.  Two years ago we welcomed ladies to join our group.  A different singing sound is now heard from the risers.

We have continued our tradition of bringing in local talent.  Returning is area fiddler, Arthur Ross, and ventriloquists Mary and Gord Vair.  Be prepared for some old time fiddling, a grin and a few chuckles.

We offer even more!! A quartet called Playback who have appeared internationally will be joining us on Saturday afternoon.  The quartet hails from the Toronto area and have an entertaining manner.

Ticket prices are adults - $20.00, youths (12-18 years) are $10.00.  Children under 12 are free.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at Doug & Marion’s Bike Shop, 25 Front St. W, Strathroy or at the door or from any Vocal Federation member.

Our director is the multi-talented John Gough assisted by the skilled Paul Stuckless.

Again please plan to come and give us a look and a listen.  We hope to see you there!
