​Metcalfe Gardens Celebrates Their 35th

August 21:  16 members of A Cappella Connection performed for a crowed of welcoming seniors at the Metcalfe Gardens Retirement Residence in St. Thomas.  They were celebrating their 35th year in operation and many retired staff of the gardens where present. With O Canada we sang a total of 17 songs and our quartet Short Notice consisting of Vicky Gough, Rae Driessens, John Gough and Paul Stuckless, sang a song called “The Water is Wide”.  John Roffel served as our MC and our show lasted a bit over ½ hour.  We received a round of applause and were served some cake and punch afterwards.  What follows are the photos and videos that were taken:
