Ontario District Spring Convention, April 11-12
April 11-12: John Gough, Director directed the 17 members of the Vocal Federation chorus in the chorus competition at the Ontario District Spring Convention, Global Kingdom Ministries, Scarborough.
The results at this convention where: 17-man Vocal Federation chorus placed 8th in the 10 chorus competition. The score achieved earned the chorus the “Sid Pyper Award for the Top Chorus in Plateau 1 Ontario District”. For-tified Four quartet: Frank Knoll (T), John Gough (L), Elwood Hustler (Bari) and Jim McDougal (Bas) placed 10th in the 21 quartet open competition and 2nd in the 4 quartet Seniors category.
