Strathroy Community Christian School Workshop
On March 26, 2024, 10 of us traveled to the Strathroy Community Christian School and joined a music class consisting of a teacher and 16, grade 8 students, and we formed a workshop in learning to sing in barbershop, four-part harmony. We demonstrated this harmony by singing three of our songs and we broke one of them apart to show the students the differences in the four parts. We also worked with them on three tags and several of them got up and joined us; two joined baritone, one joined tenor, two joined lead and four joined in with the base. The workshop lasted for about 2 hours, during which time the ten of us enjoyed working with the kids and it could be seen that several of them enjoyed working with us as well.
